Welcome to Pine Lodge Virtual Tour!
The Virtual Tour
We are in the process of revising the Virtual Tour to include the new layout of the gardens - our original Virtual Tour was set up several years ago and the garden layout has seen several evolutions since then !
We are also arranging a Gallery of images for the gardens so if you have visited Pine Lodge Gardens in the last few years and have some images that you would like to make available on our website, please contact Andy Ward
The Gardens, being situated on the warm and sheltered south coast of St.Austell Bay, in Cornwall, provide excellent growing conditions for rare, unusual and tender plants. Many have been grown from seed from plant hunting expeditions all over the world to which Shirley has been contributing since 1985.
Their collection now stands at well over 6,000 plants, all labelled, in over 30 acres of gardens, and it is being added to each year. Shirley is extremely interested and involved in cultivating as many rare plants as possible for added interest in the Gardens and for sale in the Nursery.
Walk around the Gardens
You're free to wander around the gardens as you please. However, we've worked out a route around the gardens that includes all of the 'gardens within the Garden' so that you can enjoy the full range of gardens before having a Cream Tea at our Tearooms and re-visiting your favourite parts of the Garden again !
On this website, you can follow the route around the Garden by clicking on the links to the left-hand side.
The Nursery has a wide range of the rare and unusual plants included in the garden plantings. Be prepared to be tempted when you visit Pine Lodge Gardens. Unfortunately, we're not able to supply plants by mail-order..
